Social media moves so fast and changes often, I have a hard time keeping up. I love social media and enjoy it, but staying up to date can be difficult. When I learn new things, I love sharing them with my followers to help keep everyone up to date.
There are a number of big changes coming to Facebook and Twitter. I read about them in an awesome post by Evan LePage who writes for Hootsuite Social Media Management.
The four big updates are:
- Longer Twitter direct messages
- Direct messaging without following (Twitter)
- Private messaging for Facebook business Pages
- Canned customer service responses on Facebook
I’m thinking these will make a big difference in customer service and quality of service online.
